and the OB office is open Monday through Friday, from 8:30 a.m. to 5:00 p.m.

Scheduling Appointments
To schedule an appointment with a physician or nurse practitioner, you can call our office during regular office hours at: GYN Appointments (574) 522-5562 or OB Appointments (574) 295-8805.
Please be sure to note your future appointments on your calendar, and save your appointment card. If you need to cancel or reschedule an appointment, call as soon as possible so your cancelled appointment can be used for another patient.
Our office staff makes every effort to schedule your appointment as quickly as possible. Patients with emergency situations will be given priority and are scheduled promptly.
For annual preventative care exams, a reminder card will be sent to you three months before your exam is due. Upon receipt of this notification we invite you to call to schedule your appointment. If you do not receive a card, please call our office at least three months prior to your annual exam.
Emergency Care
One of the River Oaks OB/GYN physicians is always available for emergencies after regular business hours. If you have an emergency after hours, call our answering service at 1-877-777-4990.
Our on-duty physician will be paged, given your phone number, and will return your call as soon as possible. Keep in mind that there may be some delay in returning your call if our physician is in surgery or delivery.
Occasionally, technical difficulties occur with our answering service or paging network, so be sure to call again if you do not receive a call back within 30 minutes of your initial page.
Prescription Refills
For your convenience, you can have prescriptions refilled by calling our prescription refill line at (574) 293-1509. You may call anytime, and the messages are retrieved during regular office hours. When you call, please have the following information ready:
- Full name
- Birth date
- Name of your physician
- Name of medication
- Prescription number
- Name, location and phone number of your pharmacy
- Day-time phone number where you can be reached
Financial Information
The River Oaks OB/GYN staff makes every effort to ensure all fees are fair and reasonable, and to provide our patients with efficient medical care. To control costs, we ask that co-pays, co-insurance and deductibles be paid at the time of service. For your convenience, we accept payment in the form of cash, personal check or credit card (VISA, MasterCard or Discover Card.)
Please keep us informed of any changes in your address, phone number or insurance information. If you have insurance coverage, please remember to bring your card(s) to every visit.
Remember insurance is a method of reimbursing the patient for fees paid to the doctor, and is not a substitute for payment to the doctor. It is your responsibility to pay any balance not paid by your insurance company.
Large fees, such as those for surgery or obstetric care - especially if not covered by insurance - can impose a burden on a family's financial resources. Please contact our Patient Accounts Department for assistance in arranging a payment plan. If you have any questions regarding your account, please call (574) 295-8566.
