River Oaks physicians are well trained in many of the new advanced laparoscopic surgery techniques.   These include laparoscopic hysterectomies, laparoscopic myomectomies (removal of fibroids), sterilization procedures, therapy for endometriosis and evaluation for other chronic pain problems.   Although not all cases are appropriate for advanced laparoscopic procedures, your physician will discuss with you whether or not these new techniques are appropriate in you case.
