James P. Mauck, Jr., M.D.

Dr. Mauck joined River Oaks OB/GYN in 1987.  He grew up in central Illinois, and graduated summa cum laude from MacMurray College in Illinois.  He graduated from the Chicago Medical School with honors.  He began his residency training in obstetrics and gynecology at Lutheran General Hospital in Chicago, and completed his training at the University of Illinois in Peoria.  He became certified by the American Board of Obstetrics and Gynecology in 1989 and was re-certified in 1998.

Currently, Dr. Mauck is a Fellow of the American College of Obstetricians and Gynecologists.  Other professional memberships include:  The Alpha Omega Alpha Honor Medical Society, American Association of Gynecologic Laparoscoptists, American Medical Association, Indiana State Medical Association and National Perinatal Association, and the Society of Laproscopic Surgeons.  Dr. Mauck and his wife, Patty have eight children.
